I came to this work because I believe the deepest changes don't happen through insight alone — they happen in the presence of another person, in the moment something long-protected is finally met. That conviction has shaped everything since.
For more than twenty years I've integrated three traditions: Gestalt therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and the contemporary science of attachment and emotion. I don't study relational healing from a distance. I practice it daily — with couples in crisis, with individuals carrying patterns that no longer serve them, and with the slow, patient work of helping a nervous system learn that connection can be safe.
I also teach this work. I co-founded the Seattle Gestalt & Attachment training program, where I train other therapists in the experiential, attachment-based approaches that create lasting change — work that sharpens my own practice as much as it shapes theirs. But the teaching has always been in service of the real thing: sitting with you, in the room.
The clearest way to know whether we're a fit is to talk. I offer a free 15-minute discovery call — a chance to tell me briefly what's bringing you in, and to ask me anything before you decide.
